SHIPPING & REFUND POLICIES

PACKING & SHIPPING

Orders are packed in our temperature-controlled facility and shipped directly to physical addresses, see below for shipping rates. PO Boxes are not eligible for delivery and we recommend shipping to a business address whenever possible. With orders containing both wine and cheese products, packages are shipped separately and we do our best to ship each package so they arrive on the same day, though it is not guaranteed.

Our cheese shipments are packed in recyclable cardboard boxes with biodegradable GreenCell insulation and packing peanuts, and reusable ice packs. Our wine, olive oil, and vinegar shipments are packed in recyclable cardboard boxes and pulp inserts. Adverse weather conditions may force the order to be shipped with styrofoam insulation or additional ice packs. Orders in zones experiencing extreme weather will be notified. As a default, the order is delayed until the weather improves or can be overridden by selecting UPS Overnight Air.

All orders will be shipped via UPS. For wine shipments: An adult (21+) signature is required at the time of delivery. If your shipment is returned to us due to failure to provide a signature for delivery, a re-shipping fee will incur.

ORDER FULFILLMENT

Orders placed by 11:00 am PST will be processed and fulfilled on the order date and orders placed after will be processed and fulfilled on the next business day. Please be aware that we only ship Mon–Thu via UPS and weekend delivery is not an option. All orders are subject to availability and can be delayed by adverse weather conditions. Customers will be notified by email if a weather delay is placed on their order. Weather delays can be overridden by request though due to possible tempering of goods, no refunds or exchanges will be given.

CHEESE SHIPPING

Pennyroyal Farm can deliver cheese to all 50 states via UPS. We ship the package so that it will be received within 24-48 hours after leaving the creamery, guaranteeing that the cheeses arrive in perfect condition.

WINE SHIPPING

Pennyroyal Farm can deliver wine to 43 states. Our wines are shipped by a common carrier and must always be shipped separately from cheese. Air Shipping is available to most states. Expedited air-shipment orders must be received before the following cut-off times to be delivered accordingly: 1-Day Air orders Monday-Thursday at 11 am PST; 2-Day Air orders Monday-Wednesday at 11 am PST.

WINE & CHEESE REFUNDS

Our policy is to refund or replace any wine or cheese that is damaged, flawed, packed incorrectly, or broken. We request that if a bottle of wine is corked, you send us the cork. We cannot accept a return of wine or cheese that was ordered in error or damaged by adverse weather conditions. We make every effort to warn you of adverse weather in your area and give you the option of overriding a shipping delay at your own risk.
